We're back! So long, summer...

Wow, can you believe that summer is already over? I sure can't. I bet you've been wondering where I've been. I had a lovely summer, working by the beaches in Malibu for two months. It was fun, I got a lot of sun (way too much for my liking), took a 24 hour trip to Las Vegas for an Elvis festival, took countless trips to Palm Springs (my new favorite getaway), and now I'm back in full swing here at home in the city. I have a lot of great posts to share coming up this month, including new recipes, a small porch makeover, wishlists, giveaways, and more, so stay tuned!    xo

Psst... the photo above was taken the day that I got to see Paul McCartney in concert at Dodger Stadium in August. It was unreal. Truly a bucket list moment for me. This was pre-concert when my hair was teased and I'd just purchased this dress from one of my new favorite stores downtown - Flamingo Vintage

// Check out the latest issue of Rosieteapot which I was lucky enough to be featured in this month! Rosie is so talented, and I love how she managed to squeeze in a couple of shots of Ringo's face around the whole magazine. So much love for this girl! Apartment Wishlist

Happy Halloween! I can't believe it's already the end of October. Time has flown by so quickly, and this is definitely my favorite time of the year. Fall in Los Angeles is just as pleasant as one might imagine. The weather is still warm, but a bit more chilly, especially at night. The days get darker faster, the sunsets become more intense, and more people are walking around in cozy knits, beanies and cute boots. One very exciting thing for me to be celebrating this fall is the fact that Chris and I will be moving in December! With moving comes decorating, and I can't wait for that! We've been living in a furnished guest house/loft for several years, which is hard at times because I love to decorate and haven't been able to. Lately I've had my eyes on the following items. This is my kitchen wish list (well, just some of it. It's kind of hard for me to stop at just 8.) I'll have more to come soon!

where to buy:
1. Ideal for creating more space in a small kitchen- Kitchen Utensil Rack
2. I'm a sucker for anything that has dogs or cats printed on it - Paw Prints Juice Glass
3. The cutest disposable chopsticks - Chopsticks Chevron
4. What a fun way to serve water to guests! - Green Glass Milk Bottles
5. This will definitely be a fun staple on my kitchen wall - Vintage "Eat" Sign
6. The aqua color makes me so happy - Stand Mixer
7. This is a great way to incorporate some fun into your drinks - Paper Straws
8. I will definitely be putting this to good use. Love the yellow! - Sorrento Platter

First post in ages. Hello!

I'm so happy to be back from such a long hiatus! Since the last time I posted, I have gotten a new job (which has kept me extremely busy)! I hope that now that my life is more stable again, I can get back into the swing of things and provide you with more fashion, food and lifestyle posts! I've been feeling so inspired lately, from the fall fashion that's been all over the streets of LA, to even just life at home. I will probably not be posting as frequently as I did last Christmas, but I will try to do my best to post as often as I can.

And to kick off the re-launch of my blog, here is my Wish List of 2012! Hopefully one of these items will catch your eye and will appear on your list, as well!

2. Sam Edelman "Petty" booties - Nordstrom
3. "Sleeping Kitty" studs - Catbird NYC
4. NARS Lipstick in "Funny Face" - Sephora
